Bluegrass Photography is located in Lexington, Kentucky—home of the University of Kentucky,
and Keeneland.
I photographed my first wedding in 1985, and haven’t stopped since. I developed a
passion for photography in grade school using a Kodak Instamatic Camera. Through
high school, I used various 35 mm cameras while taking pictures for the yearbook and
doing freelance work for the local newspapers. At present, I have over 30 years experience
as a photographer. I will provide your event with the highest quality service and personal
attention without breaking your budget.
After many years of working with 35mm, I switched to digital technology. Today, I am
able to provide my families and clients with higher quality photographs than ever before.
It is not uncommon for a couple to receive an average of 600+ photographs.
I use professional Nikon equipment, and am a member of the Professional Photographers of
America.
My approach to your special event is very “laid back” as I blend into the background to
capture your moment as it unfolds. I combine traditional and photojournalistic styles to
provide you with a lifetime of memories of your special day. I believe in a “low stress”
approach to what may start out as a “high stress” day.
